This type of coated webbing is made from PVC material. The inner webbing is polyester braided webbing. Because of the soft PVC layer, even the coated webbing is in thickness of 5mm, it still feel soft and comfortable. If we choose TPU as the outer coated layer, it will be very hard at this size.

This PVC webbing strap is weldable and used for bus handles. Generally, customers choose fireproof coated webbing for handles of public transport. That's the consideration for the regulation about security. The general fireproof coated straps choose flame retardant TPU as the layer while high strength polyester webbing as inner strap. If customers need higher level flame retardant performance, we will use Kevlar webbing as inner webbing instead of the polyester one.
