When selecting collars and leashes for beloved pets, the choice of material directly impacts comfort, safety, durability, and ease of daily maintenance. The mainstream materials on the market can generally be divided into nylon webbing, leather (including genuine and synthetic leather), and the emerging waterproof coated webbing (primarily made from PVC, TPU, and silicone). However, its durability is often inferior; it tends to suffer from coating peel or cracking after long-term sun exposure or friction, and its texture falls short of genuine leather.

Mud or saliva can be wiped off effortlessly, and the material itself is non-toxic and odorless, often meeting environmental certifications. It provides a soft yet supportive feel, striking an excellent balance between performance, durability, and ease of care. For the premium end, silicone coated webbing uses food-contact grade liquid silicone to deliver an exceptionally soft, skin-friendly texture and perfect waterproofing. It is safe and non-toxic, eliminating concerns even if pets chew on it, making it particularly suitable for pets with sensitive skin or those prone to chewing leashes. Naturally, its price point is typically the highest.
